PlugChain 2022 August Monthly Report

 

Dear PlugChain community partners: today we launched the PlugChain August monthly report, we will report the project progress to the community in the form of a monthly report, so that the community can better understand the latest official news!

1. Operation:

 

1. On August 4th, PlugChain and SoulMeta reached a strategic cooperation agreement.

 

2. On August 5th, PlugChain and SoulMeta held the world's first online live broadcast. The two parties discussed "new social" + "new ecology", and the number of viewers of the YouTube live broadcast exceeded 5,000.

 

3. On August 22, the first anniversary of the PlugChain mainnet launch and launched a series of activities

 

4. On August 26th, the PlugChain 1st Anniversary Achievement and Future Development Conference was broadcast live on YouTube, with more than 5,000 views.

 

5. On August 29th, the PlugChain brand LOGO was upgraded

 

6. On August 30th, the PlugChain ecological token PLUGCN was renamed PC

 

 

2. Technology

 

1. On August 18th, PlugChain officially announced the mainnet upgrade content:

 

a. Adjust the proposal fundraising time to 2 days and the voting time to 5 days;

 

b. Rename PLUGCN to PC, dump cosmos-sdk v0.45+ ethermint; v0.18+endermint v0.34+ ibc-go v3+;

 

c. Remove the NFT module and add the authz module.

 

2. On August 29th, PlugChain released V1.7.0 node

3. On August 30th, PlugChain completed the mainnet upgrade at the block height of 5,633,000.

 

 

3. Community

 

PlugChain's official Twitter, with 78.7K tweets displayed, 146K visits to the personal homepage, and 12.69k total tweets retweeted, covering 300k users.

 

 

Conclusion:

The current work of the PlugChain team is progressing as planned, including brand upgrade, mainnet upgrade, ecological expansion, business cooperation, strategic partners, etc. PlugChain will set off a new wave in the new public chain field in the future.
